Meow

A stop at JoAnn's fabrics for thread, trim, and elastic for our Halloween costumes needn't be boring. Especially when they have their own Halloween isle up and running!

Can you tell that someone has a thing for cats? ;)

Face painting fun!

When you are surprised with a stormy afternoon you must make good use of it.

See what you can achieve with a new set of face paints and a little experimentation?

Renee and the chocolate factory!

Some glasses, huh? ;)

On Saturday afternoon, we drove into Atlanta to a really cool theatrical shop. While searching for face paint, Mark came across the 'Charlie' glasses. Considering that Miss Renee is a total chocolate freak, we figured they were quite fitting.

Festive footwear

After our experience with the Freaky Monkey Guy, we needed some random, spontaneous fun.

A trip to Wally World can wipe the freakish memories out of your head, and make you laugh out loud.

Especially when the family comedienne dons a pair of rubber galoshes and gallivants around the footwear department.

It was a very interesting day, indeed.

Just how does one get out of Sears?

Good question.

After you pick up the part that you need for your ailing weed eater, you have to get out of the store somehow, right? Your journey takes you up the escalator, through the jewelry department, with an unexpected pause to giggle at the jelly shoes that have been popping up everywhere!

Just as you thought you were free from its clutches, Sears puts just onemorething right near the exit. This onemorething would be very colorful and very glittery. They do this on purpose...they want you to stop.

But did they plan on a watching a spontaneous fashion show via their security monitors?

:)

First up was this lovely number. The rhinestones gave it some extra glitz, but I don't think the little Miss was digging it.

Next, you'll see our model sporting a gorgeous, purple, froo-froo kind of look. There's a smile peeking out there, so I think she felt a little bit glamorous.

Wow. I'm really not to sure what I should say about this one. Do I really need to say anything?

Last, but not least, was the hat that caught her eye. The photo doesn't do it justice, but we were blinded by its sparkle. Our eyes were burnin'! If you could have only been there to hear the story that was told while wearing this beauty. The expression on her face tells it all...

Now if we only had somewhere to go to wear them all...

LOL!
