No, I am not talking about house guests. I am talking about garden guests.
What, or who, would you think had come to visit when you notice these little pellets on your tomato plants?
Meet Mr. Tomato Horn Worm.
And look! Here he is with his spouse, Mrs. Tomato Horn Worm.
Enjoy your new digs on the bird feeder. I'm sorry for my choice of relocation areas, but you've heard of the circle of life, haven't you?
Oh, and consider yourself lucky that we don't have a pond. When we lived in New Jersey, that's where Grammy would kindly relocate the rose munching Japanese beetles to. ;)

Honey, in my world they would SO be smashed with a brick by now. The birdfeeder was kind in comparison.
Incidentally, and for the benefit of Miss Renee whom I'm betting could use a good, satisfying "ewwwww!" - one time I picked one of those off my plant, brought it to the street in front of "the chicken coop" (yes, I lived in a chicken coop at one time) and smashed with brick - and it's head POPPED off and bounced/rolled into my neighbor's yard across the street!
all together now - EWWWWWW!
lol

Along with Grammy, the girls are yelling, "Ewwwwwwww!"
And Shhhhhhh! If Grammy had her way, she'd smash them with a brick, too. ;)
